Background
The Equality Standard has been specifically introduced for public sector organisations authorities to mainstream the equality agenda into day to day service delivery practices and employment. It requires public authorities and to robustly demonstrate and evidence how they are implementing equalities in all areas of their business through across levels 1-5.
More importantly the Equality Standard has clear links to the Comprehensive Performance Assessment and various inspection and audit regimes.
This one day workshop focuses on the requirements of the Equality Standard at the various levels. Giving participants the opportunity to apply the learning against the levels and providing real and good practice examples of how levels have been achieved and implemented in local authorities and public sector nationally.
