Background

The performance of the public sector in delivering equality and diversity outcomes is now a requirement for all organisations. Delivering equality and diversity is now a central feature of the public sector inspection regimes with a plethora of mechanisms for scrutinising the performance of public authorities in this area.

This position is also reflected in the steady 'raft' of UK and European legislation designed to secure improved public service performance. It is now more necessary for public service professionals to understand the implications of these and good practice developments for their work both internally and externally.

This workshop focuses on implementing organisations equality and diversity obligations into existing processes within the business, ensuring that time and resources are effectively uitlised, preventing repetition, and ensuring organisation meet their reposnisibilities and are able to evidence this within existing frameworks and structures.
